Chuck has been involved in Real Estate and entrepreneurial endeavors from a very young age. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Real Estate at the University of Central Florida, and prior to graduation, was recruited by the Centex Corporation, where he was instrumental in the development of various successful projects in the Orlando area.
Having moved to Peoria, IL, Chuck joined the team at a boutique Real Estate and Venture Capital firm. Notable within their portfolio, a 7 parcel assemblage mixed use re-development and the conversion of a 56 mile rail line to a hiking/biking trail. Under Chuck's leadership, the team's expertise grew to include senior housing & student housing assets.
In 2016, the opportunity presented itself to move his family back home to Orlando as a founding principal of Pennington Development Group. This firm was established to build on the 28 year history of Pennington & Associates - a local commercial construction company.
Since 2009, Chuck has held the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation. His professional affiliations in the community include the UCF Real Estate Council, Central Florida District CCIM and CREW Orlando. Philanthropic endeavors include service with various agencies that focus on children in need. He and his wife live in Maitland with their two children, Sam and Maia. Chuck has a passion for travel, and enjoys surfing, wake boarding, snowboarding, and offshore fishing.
